Why would my question be removed?

My question was, “What is a good way to hang up Christmas lights in my dorm room?” The question got 6 answers and I picked the best one…the question and none of the answers had anything inappropriate in them, so I have no idea why it was removed. The answers were just all like, “Use staplers, or use tape.” Do you have any idea why my question would be removed 3 days after I wrote it?

the people that work for yahoo answers are probably jewish or muslim and dont like xmas… an atheist or an agnostic would never do that.

All quesitons have a 3 day stay. Then gone. Check your question. Below it , it says, 3 days left to answer.
did you look in the resolved questions.
There are people/Yahoo Answers police/trolls on here! They like deleting innocent questions. Trust me, it happens to everyone, definitely including me ALL the time. It’s really annoying.
If this just happened, go to your profile and check your ‘activity details’ tab right away – it shows the last six things that went on with your account, and one of them may help. Also, look for the question in your Q&As – even though it’s removed, a stub of the question remains, with an indication of what happened to it.
If you picked a ‘best answer’, that rules out the question expiring (timing out) or you having deleted it. That leaves either the question being removed for a violation, or the ‘best answer’ being removed for a violation.
If the problem was with your question, you should have gotten a ‘violation notice’ email from Answers with info on appealing and hopefully on the problem. Check your ‘spam/bulk’ folder and make sure there are no Yahoo addresses on your ‘blocked senders’ list, too – they get misdirected sometimes. Assuming that you have copied the whole question here, I don’t see any problem with it, and you should appeal (hurry, though, you only have 7 days).
The remaining possibility is that the ‘best answer’ was reported and removed as a violation – the question and all other answers are also deleted, but you don’t get any notice about it.
If you need further information or want to add any information to this question, you can edit it to ‘add details’. Good luck.
