How soon should I start eating meat to get ready for Christmas?

I am a vegetarian right now but I am giving it up for Christmas. How soon should I start eating meat to get my body used to it in time for Christmas?

Because Christmas started for me on November 1st as far as buying presents, listening to Christmas music, and putting up decorations. I did hold off on putting up my tree until tomorrow, though But only because my husband said he wouldn’t help me put it up until Thanksgiving was over.
