some people never take down there tree, there is no actual time to ‘start; getting ready, it’s not my decision its all you…
If having a tree up, or setting up for christmas makes you happy, then do it whenever you want. who cares when other people do it
Lol i would say so start putting it up in like the begginingish middle of the month December
If you want to do it go for it…but for me it’s too early.
Hellz yeah.
Yeah, its definatily to early, Halloween and Thanksgiving havent even passed yet dude.
lol the tree.. id give it 10 more days or so… but everything else. no. better early so you dont forget things
I really don’t believe so, actually, I think that its a pretty smart idea, knowing how busy shops will be when Christmas is coming closer.
i think so, but it’s your life. do what you want. i usually do all of the xmas decorating the day after thanksgiving.
Wait to buy until after thanksgiving for the sales to start. If your list is short and you can wait longer I am sure there will be better sales the closer you get to Christmas.
I don’t think so. The sooner better. Just worry about the tree dying, watering it, and cleaning up the mess it makes. Or if its fake No worries dude.
It’s up to you. Big retail stores like Home Depot and Target are already or getting ready for Christmas. They set already have their decorations up.
not for walmart, kroger, HEB etc. after halloween that is what they do…
Absolutely not. Be unique and start decorating when you want to! Don’t care what anyone thinks! : )
Heck no it’s not too early. Start as early as you can. The sooner the better because aroun thanksgiving it starts getting crazy
I’d say its too early to put up a tree. Usually its better to do that around Thanksgiving. Its ok to start pulling the stuff out though and preparing it to be set up. If you want to put up a tree we can’t stop you.
This is just my personal opinion and what I do.
The perfect time to set up the tree is right after thanksgiving, that way you won’t look like a dork in your neighborhood. Then, start putting up holiday decorations and put some nice smelling candles with holly and evergreen branches around your house…
No, but unless the tree is fake I wouldn’t put it up.
Yep. For me, anyhow.
We always get the tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It’s always kind of like the Griswold Family Christmas Tree. Each day until Christmas gets more and more festive around the old household.
Ahhhhh…Christmas!
I looooooove Christmas.Hey,If you wanna put the tree up put the tree up.If that’s what makes you happy:)We usually put our tree up in the middle of December.But.I’ve talked my grandma into letting me put it up at the first of October XD!
Happy early Christmas!
I am pulling out boxes already and going through them, throwing away broken ornaments and decor and checking lights. First come – first serve of the Christmas stuff popping up already at Meijer and Wal-Marts. BUT the unfortunate side is paying that first come-first serve dollar… I don’t think it’s wise to put a live tree up yet only because it would dry out and shed so many needles by the time the holidays are really here. I don’t even think they are out yet at the hardware stores… I love admiring all the decorations. BUT if it’s a fake tree, you’ll want to air it out, seriously. So what if someone sees you with the windows open putting red branch on red tier? Honestly, last year, I took branches out of the box, and mind you these were kept in my husbands closet. IN the house. They smelled dusty and dry. Hose them down and set them up to dry. Also, after airing them out, they do have Pine smelly sprays. They are usually way to strong for a day and then fade in three days. Closer to Thanksgiving would be best for the tree, to ‘wash’ and let dry. The fun part is to go to a place that sells the real ones and ask for some of the trimmings off of trees, to put up and in your fake one. Just enough “real tree” smell. Happy Holidays!!!
Real tree yes but not a fake tree. I sometimes decorate for Christmas the day after Halloween but i don’t put up the tree. I love Christmas, its my favorite holiday!
it’s a little early. but heck department stores have already started decoration.
so if you want to, go for it.
It’s never too early to get ready for Christmas. The earlier you’re ready, the more time you have to enjoy the season! Personally I won’t be setting my tree up for another week or two, but if you’d like yours up now, go for it!
