another good thing, get a cork board. if your anything like me than you probably come home from school with pockets full of doodles and little notes your friends send you. stick them up on the cork board.

if your an artist draw some stuff and stick em up. or paint a mural. that would look uber cool.

I get a month off at Christmas so I’m definitely looking forward to that (just 8 weeks to go till vacation starts).

Our neighbor…the one that puts up lights that people come from miles away to see each year and turns the other side of our street into a parking lot every night for five weeks…always turns them on Thanksgiving night…that’s always fun.

Don’t get “calm winter nights”…at least not usually…we get “breezy summerish nights” (no, not in Australia…just live in south texas and it’s usually in the 60’s or 70s at night in the winter…we often go to the beach on Christmas). …and I am looking forward to wearing something besides a tank top or t-shirt.

Not really ready for the holiday itself…and not really looking forward to it…too commercial, too frenzied, too much “stuff”…friends and family are great but I could do without most of the other trappings of the holiday. Heck, we’re not even doing a tree this year (long story involving my ninja cats)…and I have a lot of home projects (painting, cleaning, repairs) I’ll have done by the time the holidays arrive and while I’m certainly looking forward to that, I’m not looking forward to what lies between now and that time!!!
