In the United Kingdom (UK) the housing association in South Shields in the South Tyneside Homes, notified a member that their outside display of Christmas lights had to be removed. It was said these lights were offensive to non-Christians. However the non-Christians in the Association, the Hindus, Chinese, and Muslims all said they were not offended by the lights and found them entertaining. The Home Association then had to rescind their edict to remove the lights. In actuality it was not …

Propo…that’s not an accurate comment in the least. Please don’t suggest those of us who are more liberal in our beliefs than you do not believe in God.

Proving once again, liberalism is a mental disorder. That is to say “extreme” liberalism.

some conservatives spend holiday season with friends and family, and also some liberals “spend the holiday seasons angry, bitter, and frothing at the mouth in rage at anything they dislike.

The difference between a liberal and a conservative during the Christmas holidays: liberals celebrate a holiday they do not believe in.

Conservatives celebrate a holiday they do believe in.

The difference between a liberal and a conservative during the christmas holidays: liberals enjoy the holiday season with friends and family.

Conservatives spend the holiday seasons angry, bitter, and frothing at the mouth in rage at this imaginary “War on Christmas” that only exists in their head.

Holiday Tree thats what it was referred to in my neck of the woods in North America. First off it’s a Christmas that is part of a Christian celebration at a particular time of year. What if I called the menorah a candle stick holder or Ramadan is for the ones who want to starve themselves boy can I be just a ignorant. How is that for your politically correctness.

Did you listen to this video?

even though those examples are a bit over the top when non-christians didn’t really care about what the other people where doing during the holiday season, we all must still be aware that not everyone celebrates xmas. i do celebrate it but i still do believe that people should be respectful of others, we should try to be as non-denominational as possible because it is not really fair to others who have diffirent beliefs, although if they do not mind we should be able to keep whatever we want up

Those darn liberal homeowners associations! They’re socialist commies you know!

  16. CloeBuckingham says:

It is DISGUSTING that the homeowners association tries to limit people’s freedom of expression and freedom of religion. If a Christian wants to have Christmas lights, or a Jew a star of David, or a Hindu Ganesh, let them, so long as it is tasteful. Of course, people of other religions do not want to limit the freedom of expression and freedom of religion of Christians. They don’t want to see a precedent set that could be used to oppress them too. Everyone enjoys the same rights. That’s freedom.

A Quote From Philadelphia’s best Mayor Frank Rizzo ( A Conservative was a liberal that was mugged the night before ) When are these liberals going to wake up? I guess it was always easier to point the finger at everyone else then stand up and take the blame yourself.

“That is why I don’t like (but am not “against”) Christmas festivities in Japan.”

You’re still a hell of a lot more gracious than the politically correct morons over here in America who get all pissy about our festivities and then try to halt them.

  21. thebuddhahead says:

You do recall correctly. That is why I don’t like (but am not “against”) Christmas festivities in Japan. I just have a distaste of non-Christian Japanese people celebrating Jesus Christ’s birthday on the Emperor’s birthday.

  22. Joe402 says:

The War on Christmas(tm) doesn’t exist.

    You’re a heartless soul usag.

USAG…John Stossel? He has less credibility than Giraldo Rivera! He once gave test reults when he didn’t actually have a test performed. I believe my government can do better than they are with leadership. I don’t accept your dismal attitude about what our American sisters and brothers working for their country in government jobs can do. Where’s any government reform the past 8 years? Just the pushing privatization. You prefer a failing, underachieving government or you’d have done something.

    Merry Christmas to you too!
