Can you wait for Christmas and are you ready for Christmas?

I know we are still about 2 months away from a Merry Christmas! I just can’t help for the time of the year to come around again and houses with decorations and beautiful lights and calm winter nights!

No thanks. Horrible cold, dark December, worst month of the year (unless you’re fortunate enough to live in the southern hemisphere). The shops milking everybody for all they can get. It’s a nuisance and expensive. I like the summer.
Well, yes and no…
I get a month off at Christmas so I’m definitely looking forward to that (just 8 weeks to go till vacation starts).
Our neighbor…the one that puts up lights that people come from miles away to see each year and turns the other side of our street into a parking lot every night for five weeks…always turns them on Thanksgiving night…that’s always fun.
Don’t get “calm winter nights”…at least not usually…we get “breezy summerish nights” (no, not in Australia…just live in south texas and it’s usually in the 60′s or 70s at night in the winter…we often go to the beach on Christmas). …and I am looking forward to wearing something besides a tank top or t-shirt.
Not really ready for the holiday itself…and not really looking forward to it…too commercial, too frenzied, too much “stuff”…friends and family are great but I could do without most of the other trappings of the holiday. Heck, we’re not even doing a tree this year (long story involving my ninja cats)…and I have a lot of home projects (painting, cleaning, repairs) I’ll have done by the time the holidays arrive and while I’m certainly looking forward to that, I’m not looking forward to what lies between now and that time!!!
I loveee Christmas time…Almost more then Christmas itself… =)
i love that! my family is really italian so we all get together christmas eve and have big dinner. its really great. i love christmas music and i could listen all year long. and decorations are like my favorite part!! or the food. or the music! ughh its too hard! but i lovee it its “the most wonderful time of the year”haha
jeez..what is it with people..scrooges…
Christmas is the best, cheesy christmas specials and pine needles, i can not wait at all! = D (i was not being sarcastic, i love Christmas!)
