Love it! thank you Rodney for such an awesome song & a great reminder to those who get caught up in the hustle & bustle of their shopping & Christmas parties & don’t think about the brave service men who fight to give us this freedom! GOD I MISS HIM!!
This song made me cry the first time I heard it. I love it. My boyfriend is currently deployed in Afghanistan through next summer and he’s missing all our 1st holidays together. I know he loves what he’s doing though. This song makes me miss him more but it’s still beautiful!
As a fellow soldier i may not speak for him but during deployment I want my family to be able to enjoy everyday especially the holidays. You should have christmas and use it as a day to think about him. Write him a letter or send him some pictures. I wish your uncle a safe trip back to the states.
I also love this song and video. My uncle is in Afghanistan for his 2nd time. My family is debataing about having christmas without him. Please remeber our soldiers in your prayers this season.
Love this song and video. My son has been to Iraq and Afghanistan twice (each) and has missed more than half of his children’s birthdays and holidays. I pray everyone remembers the reason we are here at home enjoying our freedoms. Please pray for our servicemen and women…and say THANK YOU to every one you meet. God Bless and protect each and every one.
